Sub Junior Team 1 Senior Coach
Kay has been coaching Calisthenics at Seaton for over 50 years and during this time has successfully taught all teams from Tinies through to Seniors. Kay is a dedicated enthusiastic coach and is totally committed to developing young children to their full potential while ensuring their love for Calisthenics continues.
Kay is a retired Calisthenics adjudicator and has had the opportunity to adjudicate at local and State Competitions in South Australia, Victoria, Western Australia and the Australian Capital Territory, culminating in adjudication at the Australian Calisthenics Federation National competitions on several occasions.
Intermiediate Team 1 Co-Coach and Junior Team 1 Co-Coach
Kristyn has been involved in calisthenics for over 30 years coaching for the last 25 years. She has taught Tinies, Sub Juniors, Junior and Intermediate teams.
Kristyn is a School Principal, has dance training in Jazz, Tap and Classical, and was a competitive gymnast. Kristyn is also a Life Member of Seaton Calisthenics and strives to assist all girls achieve their best while having fun.
Junior Team 1 Co-Coach and Tinies Non-Comp Coach (Monday team)
Jemma has been an active member of Seaton Calisthenics since she was three years old. She is a current member of the Seaton Seniors Team, and has competed in duos across multiple age sections.
Jemma has been coaching at Seaton since 2014 after completing her two year traineeship, and has worked in the Tinies, Sub-Junior and Junior sections. She has also coached solos, duos, gracefuls and a variety of calisthenics pupil skills grades.
Jemma has recently completed her studies and is now a qualified speech pathologist working with children in a speech and OT clinic. She also co-runs all of Seaton’s social media!
Tinies Team 1 Co-Coach and Tinies Non-Comp Coach (Saturday team)
Kahli started calisthenics at the age of 3 with Seaton Calisthenics and has been coaching for the last 6 years with 2020 being her 7th year of coaching. Over the years Kahli has represented Seaton in solo competitions, CASA state competitions and at Ballarat Royal South Street Society. Kahli is also a current member of the Seaton Calisthenics Seniors team, having competed for the last 2 years.
Kahli is accredited in Grade 1,2 and 3 of the CASA pupil exams. Kahli also completed the Seaton Calisthenics trainee program and is a Life Member of Seaton Calisthenics Club. Kahli is the current coach of the Saturday morning demonstration Tinies team and the Tinies A competitive team.
Junior Team 2 Co-Coach and Tinies Team 1 Co-Coach
Lauren started calisthenics when she was 3 at Seaton Calisthenics Club in the year 2000. She has competed every year since then and is continuing in the senior division in 2020.
Over the years, Lauren had been a class assistant to various younger teams and in 2014 was appointed as Coach of the Saturday morning Tinies team. Lauren has now taught every age group at Seaton, apart from the senior section. She has completed her Grade 4 pupil skills exam and has competed in CASA solo, duo and graceful competitions.
Intermediate Team 1 Co-Coach and Sub Junior Co-Coach (Saturday team)
Sue started at Seaton Calisthenics at the age of 3, is a Club Life member and also a 30 year member. She competed in all age sections for Seaton, as well as representing Seaton twice In the Junior S.A. State Championship team.
Sue has had over 20 years experience coaching all levels from Sub-Juniors up to Seniors, winning multiple aggregates. Sue has coached Solos, Duos and Graceful, as well as coaching students for pupil skill exams up to Grade 3.
Since returning as a coach to Seaton in 2017 Sue has also been a mentor to some of our trainee coaches.
Over the last few years Sue has participated in dance classes herself in Jazz, Fitness and a little bit of hip-hop!
Sub Junior Team 2 Coach
Shenae began Calisthenics at the age of 2 in the year 2003. During her time at Seaton, Shenae has been a class demonstrator and assistant for a range of age groups. Shenae was a member of the 2013 Intermediate Darwin development team, who placed first in their interstate competition. Shenae was also a member of the 2013 Seaton Intermediate team that placed first in the Royal South Street Competition in Ballarat.
Shenae is studying a Bachelor of Primary Education (Honours) and will be completing her 3rd year of university in 2020. She hopes to bring knowledge from all aspects of her education into her calisthenics lessons, helping her team grow and succeed to the best of their abilities.
Intermediate Team 2 Coach
Danni commenced calisthenics at the tender age of 2 at Seaton Calisthenics Club and has competed in all sections from Tinies to Seniors.
Danni has been a class assistant and trainee coach for the last three years working with the senior coaches of the Tinies, Sub Junior and Junior sections of the club. She completed the Seaton Cadet Coaching program in 2018 culminating in the co-coaching appointment of Tinies A (competition team) in 2019.
Danni actively encourages the children to engage in the social aspects of calisthenics while focusing on the importance of developing correct technique. Most of all she likes the children to enjoy their calisthenics experience.
Senior Team Coach
Elise started Calisthenics at the age of 3 at Seaton Calisthenics Club and has competed in all sections from Tinies to Seniors plus solos, duos and graceful girls over the years. Elise started coaching in 2007 and has taught all age groups at Seaton. After spending several years overseas, firstly in the USA working for Disney in live theatre and then 2 years in Scotland, Elise re-joined us as a coach in 2018.
Elise works at the University of Adelaide and will be spending lots of her free time with her family’s new addition due in January 2020.
Elise is a life member of Seaton Calisthenics Club and is looking forward to coaching the Senior team once again in 2020.
Sub Junior Team 1 Co-Coach
Emily commenced Calisthenics at Seaton in 2000 at the age of 5. She has competed every year since and is a current member of the 2020 Senior team.
Emily participated in the Australian Calisthenic Federation Opening Ceremony for the National Championships held in Adelaide in July 2007, and has successfully completed up to Grade 4 of the Australian Calisthenic Federation skills program. Emily also competed in the Royal South Street Society Eisteddfod held in Ballarat in 2009 with Seaton’s Intermediate team, which achieved first place overall. Emily actively competes and coaches routines for the Graceful Girl and Solo/Duo competitions.
Emily was a class assistant/demonstrator for many years with Tinies, Sub Junior & Junior teams. Emily commenced coaching with Seaton in 2012, teaching Sub Juniors, Juniors and Intermediates. She is very proud of winning the Junior Division 1 aggregate in 2013 with the Seaton Junior Team 3, and co-coaching the Sub Junior Team 1 who received 2nd place in 2019.
Junior Team 2 Co-Coach and Sub Junior Team Co-Coach (Saturday Team)
Alexandra commenced her dancing career with Ballet classes at the age of 3. At the age of 6 Alexandra then started Calisthenics as a Sub Junior at Seaton. She is currently a member of the Senior team.
As a Sub Junior Alexandra competed in Duo and Graceful competitions. In 2013 Alexandra was part of the Junior A team who won in the Mt Gambier Eisteddford. In 2014 and 2016 she competed in the Royal South Street Society Eisteddfod in Ballarat.
Alexandra was a member of the South Australian Senior National Team in 2018, where they won 1st place in March and Aesthetic. She has also been a part of the South Australian Precision Team dancing in the Adelaide Christmas Pageant for the last four years.
In 2015 her aspiration to become a coach began by being a demonstrator for Tinies for 3 years. This furthered when she completed the Cadet Course, and then the Trainee Coach Program in 2018. As of 2020 she will be a Level 1 coach.
Claire started calisthenics at Seaton in 1993 and began coaching with us in 2007. Since then Claire has taught every age group from Teenies to Seniors as well as many successful graceful, duo and solos. Claire has assisted National and Darwin teams in the past and in 2013 took the Seaton Inter A team over to Ballarat winning the Division 2 aggregate.
Outside of calisthenics Claire is a trained Early Childhood teacher.
